GREAT TURN OUT AT THE 5TH SOLIDARITY FASHION SHOW FOR WOMEN WHO HAVE UNDERGONE MASTECTOMIES, HOSTED AT HOTEL ANTEQUERA
The V Fashion Show for the Asociación Antequera con las Mujeres Mastectomizadas (AAMM) attracted a large public to Hotel Antequera last Saturday. This activity was designed to raise funds for the association and to contribute to the maintenance of the wig bank.
The event, the slogan of which is "Always me: strength, will and courage," began thanks to the presenter, Jesús Navarro, who was introduced with a Paco León short film that hoped to raise awareness among those present using the examples of some women who have fought this disease. The film, titled "La vuelta a la tortilla," had a huge impact on the audience who gave it a huge round of applause.
There was then a fashion show offered by brave women from the association who have suffered from breast cancer or who have had mastectomies. They demonstrated with this act their mettle, having overcome the disease. The association members performed four fashion shows, during which they wore bathing suits, casual clothing, flamenco dresses, cocktail party designs and party dresses.
The event also enjoyed a performance from Jenny and Juanma from the Academia Jennifer Antequera and the renowned singer of "Se llama Copla," Ismael Carmona, who delighted the audience with some of the Andalusian duo's famous songs.
The brands collaborating with the fashion show were Ortosol de Málaga, Confecciones Rivera, Isamobel, Patro Flamenca, Amelia Moda y Complementos, Antequeruela, Amonea, Atenea Ceremonias, +Trucos, Carlota Modas and Mi Mantilla. Makeup was the responsibility of the Centro de Estética Sonia Melero while hairdressing was managed by Berna Galán.
