VALE RESORT & ST. PIERRE GOLF JUNIOR FINAL TIE IN THE UK HELD IN GOLF ANTEQUERA
Welsh clubs Vale Golf Resort and St. Pierre were proclaimed winners tie Junior Championship Final Team Golf Home Nations Inter-Club Championship held for the second time in Antequera Golf course.
The ceremony took place trophies at a gala dinner held last night at the Hotel Convento La Magdalena with the mayor of Antequera, Manuel Baron and CEO Antequera Golf, Ramon Jimenez, commercial director of this company, Alberto Orniay, the director of golf, Javier Pellegrini, and the organizer of the championship, David Last, and all participating athletes. Jimenez was in charge of delivering the captains of the clubs junior trophy renowned for it came on stage to collect Callum Yorston (Vale Resort) and Phillip Stickler (St. Pierre Golf). Yorston wanted to show the joy received from you and all the participants and said that in his words "I have spent the best night life in the best week of my life."
For 4 days the best junior golfers in the UK have faced in the field of Antequera Golf, in a hotly contested dispute which have allowed to see a very intense game in which the players felt every blow as if it were the final, not in vain championship final result showed a tie in the first position.
Participating clubs in this edition were Liberton and Pumpherston (Scotland), St. Pierre and Vale of Glamorgan (Wales), Beedles Lake and Hexham (England) and County Sligo and Faith Legg (Ireland).
The tournament organizers choose this course by their geographical location, good condition of the pitch and have a hotel infrastructure 4 and 5 stars with large capacity, excellent spa facilities and restaurants.
It,s not the first time Antequera Golf organizes a championship of this nature, and in 2010 hosted the World University Championship Golf in over 20 countries around the world flocked to Antequera for hosting this important event. In addition, from 18 to 21 March is scheduled to hold Spain Championship 2013 University Golf Antequera Golf for the third time in its history.
